We are a family run business that was established in Amble in the 1950's by Harry Breeze. Harry had originally set up as a vehicle repair garage with a side line in repairing and maintaining bicycles in a cold, damp corner of the workshop, and it was this business that he handed down to his son Mike.

Noticing the considerable growth in the bicycle business in the last decade or so, we expanded and turned part of the garage into a bicycle showroom, which became more and more popular with locals and cycling enthusiasts across the North East. So popular in fact that, when we moved from our old premises in Coquet Street in 2006 and Mike handed the reigns to his son Mark, we re-opened as a bicycle shop and the vehicle mechanics business was consigned to the annals of family history.

Within our team is a wealth of cycling and mechanical experience, with our enthusiastic staff members having completed some of Europe's most gruelling triathalons, countless audax and sportive challenges, in addition to cross and mountain bike races. We are also very active in our local community in the promotion of the sport, with Mark using his experience to assist with coaching a local triathalon club and to set up a cycling club open to all levels of experience.
